Peggy Boerke is the full-time School Nurse at Lakota East. Peggy is a licensed School Nurse. She earned her Associate, Bachelor of Science Degree, and additional coursework for School Nurse Licensure from Miami University. She earned a Master’s in the Art of Teaching degree from Marygrove College. Her nursing background includes 14 years of pediatric staff nursing at Mercy Fairfield and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in such varied areas as intensive care, general pediatrics, eating disorders, and convalescent care. She has been with the Lakota district since 1986, working first at Lakota High School and transferring to Lakota East when the building opened in 1997.
Clinic Aide - Cindy Hawkins
Cindy Hawkins is the Clinic Aide at Lakota East High School. She previously worked at Cincinnati Bell for 15 years before taking a break to have children. This is her fourth year a working at Lakota East Clinic. She also has two kids, one is a 6th grader and the other is a 9th grader and both are in the Lakota School District.
